Follow Your Dreams and Continue the Change*


*This is part 4 of the series: The Journey of Change

Change is about taking action. It starts mentally and then emotionally. Step by step.

Begin by believing in the possibility of change. Yes, change can and will happen. Believe in it and it will not disappoint you.

Remember, the first step must be taken by you.

You want to go along with the rules and laws of life. You need to know them and then follow them.

Follow the universal laws of life while you are aware of your positive characteristics. Focus on the bright side of yourself. Change needs momentum and you get this momentum, not by criticizing yourself or self-guilt, but by seeing the good side of you. No matter how negative you might be inside, you must have some good things inside you. You might have helped someone someday, or you stood by a friend during hard times, or you were honest towards people, or you were simply kind to yourself.  I don’t know about your personality, but I know that there is good among people. Just trust that you are  valuable. You may not be valuable to some people, but that is not the point. You are valuable to yourself. And that is enough.

 

 

When we sleep and wake up, when we work and play, when we meet different people, when we make or lose friends, or even when we do nothing, we create different thoughts and reactions. By doing nothing, we actually are doing something. Those experiences in our lives will create different reactions. If  the majority of your reactions to life’s events are negative, stop and listen. You can not control what will happen in your life……., but……….you can react differently.  According to Denis Waitley "There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them."

Those experiences of your life can have a different meaning. Different meaning leads…………….to different reactions.

 

 

Change your reaction today. Believe that you can……………….and will.

Focus on your direction in life. You have goals and dreams. It is good to have dreams. A person without dreams is a dead person.

The famous German philosopher Goethe, had this quote "Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men."

Plato, the Greek Philosopher knew about the importance of dreaming, and he said this "Follow your dream as long as you live, do not lessen the time of following desire, for wasting time is an abomination of the spirit."

 

 

You may need the help of someone in order for you to change. There are people who would like to help. You only have to search for them. You may or may not find them, but that is ok. You start with yourself.
